Some question about mapping

Hi, friends, I have some question, hope you can help me.
1/I want to resize and reterrain [include cliffs] my map, how can i do that?
2/I want to create fog effect [white fog] for my map, but i don't like the White fog [while editting a region], so is there any way to make a more decent one?

1) You can resize a map in the Options tab. If you want to reterrain it i find it often easiest to resize it down to 32x32, flatten it and then expand it to the desired size.

2) You can use the Options tab or triggers to create a fog effect, it won't however hug the ground. A mroe dense ground hugging fod would, I believe require a model edit.

I suppose layering multiple foggy regions on top of each other might work.
