Greetings wc3lings. I haven't been around here for a very long time but I think some of you might remember some of my maps. I made Tank Commanders. You command a tank with customizable turrets. None of the Phoenix Fire crap here, each turret was triggered to a high degree. From mine launcher turrets to microwave guns that caused creeps to enlarge and explode messily. ![]() A couple of Starship Troopers maps (Zulu Angel is the one where bugs can climb over the walls of your fort). ZA also had an exclusive skill system where each player begins with access to 11 skills but picking one skill of a category makes the other two skills in that category unavailable. ![]() I also made Legionaries, a company-level tactical game where you controlled large groups of infantry/cavalry by giving orders to their captains. Each company would follow the orders given to their captain but soldiers cannot be individually ordered around. The game also featured a rear attack bonus that caused troops to take more damage when attacked from the rear and a Starcraft style subtractive armour system (rather than wc3's built in multiplicative one). On top of that, each company of troops had a morale system and would break and run if defeated. Troops that managed to retreat in this manner would refund the player their cost in gold. This encouraged and emphasised flanking and encircling tactics. These maps have been unleashed The unlocked .w3x files for my maps are hereby available to everyone. You can download them here: http://www.wyrdysm.com/games/th15WC3MapsUnleashed.zip This zip includes an unreleased Tank Commanders v0.88, Starship Troopers: Zirugia, Starship Troopers: Zulu Angel and Legionaries. I don't require you to credit me if you use them, but it would be nice if you linked back to my website (http://www.wyrdysm.com). What am I doing now and why did I stop making WC3 maps? Well, I moved on to creating computer games from the ground up rather than just modding. My main project, Battleships Forever is a finalist at this year's Independent Game Festival (it's on next week). You can check out my games at: http://www.wyrdysm.com |

! It's great to see you around again, even if you just for a day followed by more years of absence. I really liked Tank Commanders. Awesome map. It, along with Battleships, was a major source of inspiration for one of my maps I never finished. :) I'll make sure to try out your game when I have the time, but right now I need to get some sleep. Take care. |

It's really good to see people taking the time to do this sort of thing. It saddens me the amount of original gameplay systems and art that must be languishing forgotten because their creators never got a chance to make them open source. Good luck with the competition, th15. |

I used to love playing your maps, and they were a major inspiration for me to get into mapping. Thanks for releasing them and good luck with the competition. |
