Anyways, you can find two stargate models at the hive. I don't know if they have the proper effects though.

As far as I know, it's not possible. You can't just cut of a unit that is walking through it. But, you can use some tricks to make it appear like that. One, you can put destructibles/doodads behind the stargate, making a fake wall that your unit will just walk through. Then you move the unit or something. Second, you can make the stargate into a "gate", but you won't get the walk-through effect.

Through triggers you should be able to play any of the stargates animations you want.
