Help extracting icons

I have no idea how to get icons from the MPQ. I need to modify them slightly, such as making passive or active versions of icons.

So, my question is... What program(s) will I need to do this, and how do I go about doing it? I have an art program already. I just need an extraction program (and the links to them). Thanks in advance.

Edit: I've got cohadar's Wc3Borderizer, so now I really just need the extraction tool.

I find myself sitting with Magos' Model Editor for all my MPQ-extraction needs, but if it's images you're into, track down the classic WC3 Image Extractor II.

I actually use WC3 Viewer by Prophet for icon viewing/extracting. I like it's tree-view interface more than Magos'.

I'm not using Magos at all.

But in other news, I can't find the Far Sight icon. Anywhere. I ctrl+D'd in the object editor, got the path, and looked. It's not there. Not even search can find it.

I'm using the Wc3 Image Extractor II.

EDIT: In fact, it seems to be missing a lot of icons. So far I haven't found 3 in a row. I'm following their exact path and nothing comes up.

EDIT EDIT: What the hell? It's like any icon I'm currently using is NOT in the list. I can't even find basic Heal!

EDIT x3: I've found: Mana Flare, Monsoon, Orb of Venom,. I cannot find:
Far Sight (BTNFarSight)
Heal (BTNHeal)
Rain of Fire (BTNFire)
Soul Gem (BTNUsedSoulGem)
Defend (BTNDefend)
Orb of Frost (BTNOrbOfFrost)

EDIT x4: Well that sucks. Gotta look in the other MPQ.

Make sure you're looking in the war3.mpq, not the wa3x.mpq. Far Sight isn't in the expansion MPQ, but rather the RoC one.

...Orly? Well that's cheap.

Does Wc3 Viewer do that too?

Yeah, you need to load whichever MPQ you want to view, you can't view everything at once.
