TESTING GALLERY: FEBRUARY 29 INSTALLMENT Hey y'all. I figured since I spent a bit of time today sticking my fingers in the joints of Human Act I Mission 1: The Plains of Azeroth that I might as well share a few pictures of it with you. This is going to be a gallery of things I find visually appealing in our testing period. Plains of Azeroth is a tutorial, of course, but I still found quite a few things that got me excited. Hopefully you feel the same way. I make no apology for the large file size of these screenshots. Our previous in-game pictures are of generally poor quality, and I feel you deserve some detail. None of these pics are 'faked' other than cropping for the closeups. Here's a brief rundown of this first batch of pics: Post1: Lothar and a grunt duking it out. Post2: Exploring the map with Lothar's posse (don't worry about the missing icon in the Info Display, it's been fixed) Post3: Gruntfighting, redux. Post4: Gruntfighting 3: The Final Gruntdown. Post5: Gruntfighting Goes To Hell. Post6: Stomping around triumphantly. Post7: Raiding a Blackrock goldmine. Post8: The loading screen for Human Act I Mission 1: The Plains of Azeroth. DoCTest: My town at the end of this mission. TELL US WHAT YOU THINK! |

You sure that's all you can say? Come on, say more. GUSH. You know you want to. |

The new loading screen footman is great and superior to the previous (no offense to whomever it was that drew up the first one as it wasn't too shabby). And the full base in that last shot is glor-e-us. |

omg is this still wc3? total orgasm! edit: the uv on teh footman's shoulder looks a bit fucked up tis based on the bandit model no? |

OK Second image - Lothar walk is somewhat funny. He seems to be almost leaping when he walks. WTH is that green icon doing there? I dislike the move and patrol icons (the one with soliders and a dart). The Last image - Barracks look weird. I didn't know they made stone roof and watchtowers for barracks... But it's a non-issue. On the side note the houses do look a bit bland however. Other than that. I came. |

did you not read? the green icon has been fix already since that shot |

Nope. The problem there is that the testing file didn't have the hero icons in it, so I fudged Lothar's in manually (it's not cheating because it's just correcting a mechanical error) without remembering to fudge it into both places. |

Well tbh I can live with green icons. They can be easily fixed. He looks strange when walking. Can someone post some animation of his model? I promise not to steal and reverse engineer it ;) |

He does look a little strange here... and to be honest the animations HAVE always looked a little odd. But in-game they do look alright. We'll probably have to get less ridiculous ones eventually, but for now they work well enough that we're not going to get sidetracked. |

Reminds me of something... Does Lothar's feet still slide around while stationary? By the way, the barracks is obviously based on classic Orcs and Humans barracks. http://www.wowwiki.com/images/5/58/W...-_Barracks.jpg Stoned and Tower'd |

I just played the old Human demo. That slippin' and slidin' was hilarious. It's also gone. |

Why is the hero's icon, in the last screenshot, drawn while the other icons are just screenshots of the unit? |
