Those ferns are too bright in my opinion. Whenever I use them I make them darker like th color of the trees. But looks really good! |

Poor choice of tree IMO. They don't suit the overall atmosphere. The ferns stick out from the grass too much, and I think there are better looking ferns in the UTM. You should also thrown in some more types of grass. I find if you have variation of grass it turns out better. |

I disagree with Gilles about the trees, but yeah, the ferns do stick out a bit much. And the trees would be better if they were a little more yellow. |

ferns ought to be darker. Also, you could try making their size a bit more random, it gives it a great natural feeling. And last but not least, add a bit of noise on the earth, it looks somewhat flat to me. And add more variation to the terrain. Other than that, it's nice. I love how the fog makes it look like it's really sunny |

Hmm... the ferns are too bright? They are tinted at 100/100/100 :\ The ferns are actually darker than everything else :\ @Mc! It's not actually fog, it's 2 sun-light things (like I used in dawn) and a glow doodad. |

trees ruin it |

the trees don't really match the area's architecture and the sunken ruins path doesn't match with them. personally i think that the ferns are too dark but they do need size variation. not really sure what trees you should use. something brighter i think |

i think you should use darker dirt tiles, and vines covering the ancient bits, especialy the fallen pillar, needs more interrelationships! Also wats with the random huts on the left side? |

It's supposed to be a forest troll temple, and those are their little cliff huts. (If you have played WoW they have them all over the place) |

Zul'aman is srs bns. I can't comment on anything terribly constructive as its all been said. |

Ok, I added some more yellow fog doodads to make it a little less bright, and I darkened the shrubs, added more size variation to the ferns and made the rocks a little bit bigger. I also made the terrain a little bumpier here and there. As for the trees, I really can't find anything else that's better, so I tinted them a tiny bit yellow. |

sky looks... wrong the yellow is ugly on the cliffs in the background, i think yellow is just a BAD color for wc3 terrain, period. you need to try harder to replace those trees, they're completely unacceptable. |

It's because the trees have no variations, they're all identical to one another. Also, the mix of blue and yellow in the sky is the problem. If you're going for a "sun blotting out other color" effect, you need to make your sun engulf the landscape and sky. Google some reference shots if you need to. |

There is absolutely nothing better in the UTM. And my challenge states that I can't use anything else, so I guess I'm fucked as far as trees go. I could make the sky go back to what it was originally, though. |
