Dark Isles

Dark Isle rises from the darkness to welcome the strangers from the quiet corners of the globe. The hazy mist of causality reflects in dark chaotic waters of possibility.

Anyone who gets which series inspired me to make this pic gets a cookie.

Black Isle logo? I've been playing some Baldur's Gate recently, so I should be able to tell when I see a picture like that. It looks like the logo very much, nice work.

Hmm that gives a totally new perspective. It looks absolutely amazing in the thumbnail, but close up it looks like spray.

yeah id say black isle, i thought of that when he first mentioned that but i agree with you. no lightning though.

@~Void~: I know. But if it is any comfort it looks better live than it looks on the pic. The particles shimmer in real map so it really looks like water if you look at it from a certain angle (it's a neat illusion btw).

@Game Slave: Wth? I'm not stupid enough to send a shooped pic to a terrain gallery. In fact that entire pic is made of two doodads ;) I could upload the map if you want it.
