Brutal Lord

Hey, I was supossed to post this yesterday but...the renderer took 4 hours...now you can imagine how old is my pc...I want a quadcore+600$video card!!!!....*cries*

whatever...

Moyack is this model ok with your vision of Brutal Lord??? armor is still missing(beard too...), dont know if Ill model the armor as new objects or just skulpt them in the base mesh...Also the chains are worrying me...should I model them ^^!...btw any guesses on the policount???

I think Ill use this model as a test subject for Zbrush
edit: k...it backfired...I was working with editpoly so it was just showing like...half of the poligon count...still try to guess it ^^

I think the armor chains and beard should be plain faces, detailed with alphaed textures in order to save polygons (sorry if I'm talking nonsenses, I'm not used to the modelling vocabulary :P). If you're on msn, I'll catch you so we can discuss properly

Zbrush is for sculpting high poligon models, I need this for Dominance War.

A naked Brutal Lord?......I would preffer a naked Arachnian Queen ^^

I would totally ask if I could animate this but I assume you've got it covered you awesome artist you.

I would have thought it should have a longer torso and be a bit more hunched over like in the concept art, but this looks way cool too.

Actually make it fat would be a good idea.

If Jigrael wants to give you the animation task, you know I'll be more than honored to have your skills in my project.

k Moyack, I had something else in mind when u said "to get the anatomy", but that drawing is the same...I expected a front view, lateral view, I dont know something for me to actually get it right...but worry not, Ill try to make him look like ur concept.

Dwarf Zealot.- Bodypaint3d is a projection painting software. That means u can paint over the 3d model directly, and its much much easier than using photoshop for example and u get all the goods from it like layers, brushes, color correction, etc. + you see exactly what you are painting, and that means...no seams ofcourse ^^

Chriz.- You want it? ^^ all yours, Im a little bussy with Dominance War, make him move sexy :/ lol. edit: yeah forgot to say...that if I were to animate this, I would probably take another year lol, u r much much faster ^^

Nuclear Arbitor.- Close, very close, 1.2 k polys.

Btw Im in final exams this week, so probably not much updates for now.
