***:Please give me detailed information about this idea. It is bad or good? Any ideas on how to make it better before I begin working on it.***

Alright, I have this very interesting idea for a brand new tower defense. Well as we all know, all the past games of tower defense have been pretty well flat and lacking in terrain. It's jsut towers and monsters, towers and monsters. Not to mention that the towers often get changed by people who don't like a challange.
Well In this, I'm looking to make what I call, The Best of Both Worlds (that's no the map name). What I mean is, I want to combine three basic things, Tower Defense, RPGs, and The Final Mission of the WarCraft 3 single player. Allow me to toss up a few new things I wish to add with this map.
- --------------
- A Large map with terrain and visible detail.
- New Towers. No more basic, upgraded, or advanced towers.
-Natural Tower = Get's stronger with Hero's level. (Hit's air and ground)
-Balistics Tower = Does not Level with hero but does siege damage and has longer range. (Hit's ground only)
-Obelisk = Does not Level with hero but does magical damage air units and only casts slow on ground units.
-Summon = Each race will have a unique ability to summon a certain creature to help for a limited time.
- The player can choose just one Hero
- All kinds of new and unique heros - Hero's can of course be brought to life at the altar, but also come with a Ress.
- Hero's will determine what buildings the player can produce. (Night Elf, Orc, Human, Elf, Chaos Orc, and Beast)
- Each race will have it's own unique looks, colors, and attacks. Not to mention there own special Summoned Beast that the only the Hero can call. ( This being the Level 6 Ultimate)
- When Hero's level, all towers will upgrade with them.
- The map design will be more like Tower Defense 2 - All players will be defending a rather larger hill that has the World Tree in the center. Around the tree are wisps, these wisps will be the player's lives.
- Large roads will be widing up the hill towards the World Tree. Near the World Tree, there will be Way Gates leading to other areas around the tree since the roads will be divided strickly to help keep players where they belong and to prevent stray wondering units.
- The roads will of course cross in different areas. Letting the player choose which area will produce the best area of defense.
- All attacking monsters will just be Undead and Burning Legion.
- Elevation may also be a advantage if used correctly. Plenty of trees will be in the way, but they can also be destroyed to provide more building room.
- Hero's can take Quests - This will allow them a chance to gain levels, collect items, and even discover "Blue Prints" which will allow their race to produce a new kind of tower.
- Secrect Towers, completely optional. You find these by discovering "Blue Prints"
-Hunter's Stand = Cast's Ensare
-Elven Transformer = Cast's Ploymorph
-Force of Nature = Cast's Entangle
-Holy Spire = Cast's Holy Light only friendly units and enemy undead.

I understand that this would be a very complicated project, and it will be very different from any other tower defense ever played. I'm aiming to have all monsters attacking anything in their path and to have fewer lives. The goal of the game is to use everything you have to prevent the enemie from breaking through.
In short, hard as shit.
Please, comments and suggestions. Also, I'm looking for a lot of help with triggers a movie scenes. So please, give me a hand here. :)
