Era of Alliance! "Yet another AoS from MCR-ELSKER.. *sigh*"
The answer is - yes, or no.. How can I say this? Because it's not "just" a AoS. Well, on topic: EoA is a 6v6 AoS type map, which contains items, and units to support your team. Also, your Hero will have 4 custom spells, made by me, MCR-ELSKER, and Tinki3. The tileset of EoA is Barrens. - - Where are the bases? Well, the Bane's base is in center of the map, in the top, and the Eternal's base is in center of the map, in the bottom. Also, there are 4 spawners on each team, and if they die, there will not spawn units there anymore. - - Do you ever get tired of making AoS maps? Of course, but that moment is not yet - right now the basic map making is AoS maps, but my former interrest was TD's. You may ask "do you ever get done with all these maps?", and the answer is: yes, I am working a little on each map. It's kind of cute how you actually styled your "evil" race entirely after mine from my maps (You know, naming convention, the whole nine yards). It's also funny how the endgame message is practically identical to DoE's, except, you know, that DoE's includes a rematch. My hero was pretty funny, honestly. I summoned waves of trees that rotated and flew around... The funny part is that the 'knockback' I think it was that my rotating trees had worked on structures, so I was knocking structures into the river and onto cliffs and stuff. Quite hilarious. You should also consider removing the WoW tree model (There's a great enough model in game, save the filespace) and adding some, you know, healing places. You also tried to jack an AoM skill (Now how low can you go, man) from their lightning x-men chick. I mean, your ultimate is identical just that it's a weirdo blood mage flying in the sky that looks terrible. (And you spawned dozens of thunderclap effects, which looks equally terrible) No items, no real innovation, nothing that jumps out and makes me go "Hey, let's play that again." As far as I'm concerned it's just another AoS map. Perhaps you should consider designing the map before making it, since it seems like you just spew it out without any pre-consideration or thought. |

I have always used the Bane as the evil force in my map, even before I tried (tryed, I don't know?) your, and vile1's AoS maps. Nine yards? What are you refering(Spelled?) to? I didn't know it were a WoW model, I just found it on a website, and there stood he didn't wanted credit, I thought "fine", and I used it. Remember, this is in the extremely early beta versions, items will come, but they are not my goal with this map. Right now I am adding more heroes, AI, and systems. Unfortunately (spelled?), I have no idea how to fix the push structure thingy, but I have lowered the movement of the knockback. I hope it helps :) EDIT 2: I'm sorry Rising, but one of the hero's ultimate is a bit the same as one of your spells in AotZ. The spell is like this: The caster shoots a arrow in the air, which splits into multiple arrows, which rains down upon the AoE. These transforms into sand, which slows units in the AoE. The caster does this 3/6/9. I hope it doesn't matter, because Tinki3 lay a lot of effort in doing it. EDIT 3: Right now I have a major bug with one of my passive spells, Tinki3 is fixing it. So I don't know if it will be released today. |
