Invisible Skin

At the hive workshop they're reacently updated their skin section (along with the model and icon sections) and I found an old skin that never got approved: Here When I try to use it the unit is invisible except for team color. The strange thing is that it works in WcIIIViewer, I've even exported the model and changed the skin path and the model worked perfectly in Viewer. So:
1) How can I fix this?
2) Should I ask the creator for premission, I'm not really editing the skin I'm just trying to get it to work?

You don't need to ask for permission if you're just getting it to work, though you may want to contact him if it persists in not working. I can nearly guarantee the problem with the skin is in a corrupt alpha channel. If I can find some time, I'll fix it, but someone else may be able to get it for you first.
