So I haven't mapped a Warcraft III map for about 1 and a half years and I want to get back into it. What are some good maps to start with? And what are some good tuts to read? Thanks. |

What do you know, what don't you know, and what might you want to know? |

I know some stuff about triggering & terraining. I would like to learn about making effective items and units, and some advanced triggering/terraining. |

If you're serious with triggering, learn Jass (if you haven't already) and then vJass. My personal favourite are vexorian's tutorials: Introduction to JASS Triggers in JASS vJass for spell makers |

I firstly want to make a map, and perfect it, I want some suggestions for a small project to incorporate all of what I posted into it. |

Try making a simple mini-game that you can play with you and your friends. That's usually a good way to start; don't try to attempt something ridiculous. The first map I ever made was one where you walked up to different units on the ground and they played funny sequences from their "pissed" soundset. Maybe just play around in the editor trying to find things that are interesting |
