Perl problems

I got some problem installing the dev version of AMAI, I installed perl and the .pl files gets an perl icon and everything seems to work fine. When I doubleclick at AMAIStrategyManager.pl, A cmd window comes up, then dissappaers after 0.5 sec and nothing happends. How can I solve this?

I'm assuming you downloaded perl v5.10. It no longer bundles tk which is the graphical interface. You will either have to use ppm (type ppm in cmd window) to install tk so it works or go back and download v5.8.

I cant seem to find a working download link for 5.8, and for the tk problem. I wrote cmd and got the cmd window. I wrote ppm, it said it wasn't a command or directory. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT. I still have some problems. I think the problem is that I made it open with the wrong program.
Is there a way to uninstall perl?

Add/Remove Programs???
