Hero Contest #2 - Teams & Matchmaking

The following list of users are those who have contacted me either by posting here or by PM and decided upon teams for the Hero Contest #2.


When you figure out who your partner is going to be and you're both decided, you can come up with a SFW name for your team (Doesn't have to be fancy, just for fun) and then tell me about your team! I'll add you to the list in this thread. It'll help me a lot for organizing and figuring stuff out later to have a complete list.

I'm going to make a list of artists that have posted desire and who haven't contacted me about a team yet.
People to PM but who haven't posted yet are active are the following:

• Olofmoleman (Hey, he posted the other day and does great work, someone with a good history here might want to ask him if he'd be interested!)
• Nirvana_87 (I've worked with the guy a lot, amazing texture artist, he just has a bit of trouble juggling school and WC3 modding. Last activity a month ago, I'm not sure about him!)
• Pheonix-IV (The B&B special effect maker, brilliant guy with lots of creativity bundled up, this guy would be a prime choice if you can get a hold of him!
• Daelin (Retired modder, but he pokes his head around now and again, he does great special effects!
• Nasrudin (Does it all, not sure how active he is again but it could be worth looking into!)
• Born²Modificate (He's got a lot of scattered talent in a lot of areas, it's probably worth a PM!)

So hey, that list wasn't as short as I thought it would be. Just need to force people to get into it! I'll go ahead and list the coders too, so would-be artists don't drown at sea.

• Alexander244 (Someone I only met recently through the last few spell sessions, great help, great coder, totally recommended)
• Ammorth (He's ammorth man, what's not to love? He's great at what he does too, definitely worth checking out)
• TopWolf (Yo Mr. TDG member, you should talk to 13lur for a team, he's a good artist IN your clan! Think about it!)
• emjlr3 (Loyal, easy to get a hold of coder guy man HULK SMASH!)
• Burning Rose (Newcomer to the crowd, apparently really good at hero design!)
• Dark.Revenant (The guy that made epic map Battlemages!)
• Tossrock (Apparently made a Pudge Wars map!)

I guess coders just have to be more creative in their methods to get teams, eh? We can make it happen! I'll try to PM all of the artists that haven't expressed interest yet and see if I can't convince them to hop into this epic contest.

k, who wants meh? You'd better be good though...

We should probably post what sort of hero we want to make, and, for those of us less well known, what sort of skills we have.

Happy to do anything up to spells requiring complex physics.
Last spell I made, from Spell Session #10.

Hero Ideas:
Still brainstorming... Welcome to any ideas from artists.

• Magic Imbued Warror:
  - Either Blood Elf or Draenei, unless artist has other preference.
  - 2 combat skills, a summon, and a high eyecandy magic ultimate.
  
  
• Explosion loving Tauren (or other beefy unit):
  - various possible skills, high explosive ultimate.

I am a coder who is looking for an artist. I have been coding for 4+ years and can work in vJass. My NewGenPack is fully functional and updated to the latest version. I can work with almost any system and coding style.

I'm looking for an artist who has ideas and can help collaborate the winning hero. Message me via PM and we can discuss ideas for the hero and what we each plan on doing.

Teamwork
Very open to all sorts of Heroes & would strongly forward to working together in a team environment doing the best we can.

A few random ideas
A couple of possible Hero themes, perhaps if im lucky an artist may like one of the concepts? who knows.

I think best choices would be from the unused war3 campaign Hero pool.

• Jaina >> The Phoenix Knight (Jaina + Red Hair/Outift need I say more?)
  Fire/Lightning themed, offensive Hero.

• Sylvannus >> The Grand Marshall (Ranger in a white outfit)
  Spiritual/Energy themed, support Hero.

• Furion >> The Arcane Mystic (A sort of Gandalf the White type Furion, old/wise)
  Space,Time,Dimension themed, mystical Hero.

• Rifleman made into Hero >> The Royal Marksman (A bigger,badder, meaner rifleman, a bit of Gold in there?)
  Explosive/Assanination themed, cunning Hero.

I dont want to clogg up the thread anymore, but those are just a few potentials.
