Welcome to Battleships - WarCraft Edition!

This map is a turn-based Battleship-style game. The game features:
  • 3 game-modes (classic, trigger-happy, item frenzy)
  • 10 players can play in the same map
  • A user-friendly lobby where players can join "games" within the map
  • 10 "games" where players can fight each other or a computer while observers can watch
  • Computer AI for when there are no friends to play or when someone leaves
  • Players are able to keep track of their scores with a code and earn certain rewards
  • The map never ends, meaning players can play as many games as they want
  • Of course, there are 5 different types of boats, ranging in size and durability

The map is still in early stages of development as I am still laying down most of the script for the different systems. This game is extremely script intensive and I'm trying to make it as clean as possible, so bear with me.

With the amount of objects in the map, it may lag with older computers. As the map nears the final stages I will do as much as I can to improve speed, but I cannot guarantee anything.

The location of the map is in a tropical island chain with ruins and a waterfall.

The battleship board is preserved by the random floating boxes and planks which happen to line-up in a perfect gird (coincidence? I think not!). The numbers only exist in your imagination.

With this thread I should begin spending more time on finishing this map (started it many months ago but then I became busy). I'll keep everyone updated when I get closer to completion.

So far, I am the only person working on this project. I am not actively looking for people, but if you feel you could contribute, PM me and we can talk.

So, in other words this project is abandoned? or...?
