So whenever I try to start the WE with JASS New Gen it doesn't work. It either does nothing, or tells me I need the disk (Which i know I don't, since the first time I tried it it worked. It hasn't since.). After that, I can't start normal WE because it tells me that it's already open. Vista won't let me delete the folder, And I can't seem to write over it. Any Ideas, because this is aggravating me extremely, seeing as how I decided I was finally going to shift my map into JASS. EDIT: Well I figured it out. Apparently it only works when the entire folder is on my desktop, not Program Files. Kinda interesting, since that's the only place 7-zip will let me put it. EDIT 2: However, on a Side Note, my Syntax Checker isn't working. Whenever I try it it says: "Common.j not found. Make sure it's in the same directory as TESH.dll and try again." I get the feeling this is related to the first "solved-ish" problem. |

Actually I had that problem before. I can't remember how I fixed it, and my response will probably be clear but have you tried resetting it to default WE and then re-downloading the whole pack? |

I think so, and it doesn't seem to make much difference. |

Sometimes for me, Grimiore won't inject properly into WE or something of the sort and I have to restart JNGP WE until it works. |

When it doesnt work for me this is what I do (XP though, not vista) CTRL + ALT + DELETE exehack.exe -> End program worldedit.exe -> End program NewGenWorldEditor.exe -> End Program Then try again (if you clicked the buttons more then you will have to end the programs more than once) Also, I heard that having less programs open increases the success rate of the DLL injection. |

If it fails, then the processes will still be running, and because windows sucks, it may decide you can't kill them. In that case, I find the easiest solution to relog (god I hate M$...). |

If it's telling you you don't have the CD inserted then you probably should update to 1.21b; the latest Battle.net patch removes the need to have the CD inserted at all, so if it's telling you to insert it I don't think you've updated. |

Well I've had the update for a while. I tried using the CD, it didn't help. Then I turned off my Stupid Vista User Protection whatchamacrap, and re-installed. Works like a charm. |
