So, this is my first subission in art, the drawing is from a personal fantasy space, i wont tell much about that, cos it would most probably bore you...
So, just tell me what you think, and please tell me if theres something i need to work on :)

Update: Added another pic of it, with more shadows, and in some places, stronger shadowing.

it looks like a dick. or an eye with a scorpion tail. the shell part is nice though. does it eat?

nope, its a sort of mythical beast, in fact, its not the meaning to know anything else than that it is dangerous, but, no, it does not eat, yet another unsolved mystery about this phenomenon of a creation :P

Stop your realism, pantsy. Its an eye with a stinger and manes, pretty neat.

Even though it would be badasser with hornet wings, but meh.

Erwtenpeller, its for a Chi-fi universe, so, its supposed to be a sort of alien like creature, but with a fantasy twist over it. therefor i decided to NOT have wings. :P

What's chi-fi? Some weird sci-fi + ancient chinese secret thing?

hey, sorry, im not from England. Its supposed to be sci-fi, as you said=P anyways, updated it, showing a darker immage, since the light took away some of the first one. and TDR, your so good at this, cant you give me some advice or anything? or at least say something ABOUT the drawing? Would be nice :D

The actual eye bit is pretty cool, has some good shading, but there isnt much texture or nething on the eye, also the stinger thing has good shading, but no texture, same thing with the mane, but that also needs more definition.

Also it seems that the light that shines on ur beasty does not line up, like on the armour/chittin it seems to be comming from a different angle then when it shines on the squggiy bits.
