Orb Effects & Doom

I can't seem to find any that satisfy my needs, but maybe you all can help.
Can anyone find or does anyone know of an orb effect passive ability in WC3 that does not get disabled when the unit with it suffers from the WC3 ability Doom? It's important that it satisfies this requirement above all else, even if it's a stupid ability with its own problems.

doom simply kick off any ability that you can have... so what i suggest is replace doom with something else... soul burn for example, and trigger the doom spawn when the unit dies

Unfortunately, soul burn doesn't stop items from being used.

Does Doom disable slow poison on attacks?

No, Drunken Haze, Silence, and Soul Burn all fail to stop items from being used. Doom is a must for this because of that. I could easily fix my problem if I just use soul burn, really, but I'd like to not have to intercept item orders.

Yes Anitarf, it does, I tried that already. :(
