Is there any way a third-party/external program can receive data from WC3? For example, if a player types in "ooga booga", the words will be logged into the program. (EDIT: Sorry, I meant ANY player who types in something, will be logged into the program's file.) |

If you're looking for programs that do it, Banlist is one of them. But any macro recorder / keylogger should do it for you (you just have to make a macro to turn it on when the wc3 window is active) |

Ummm. Let me clarify it a bit more. I'm trying to log EVERYONE's inputted text into this file. NOT just one person's. A keylogger won't be able to keylog someone's keystrokes thousands of miles away. |

if your the host of a game you should be able to take the packets sent to you. |

I just remembered all those bots back in the day. By doing .say, the bot mimicks you and says whatever you said. There must be someeway of getting the packets, even if you aren't the host, no? |

Theoretically it could be gotten out of memory, so long as it comes up on your screen (or if you are host, I guess). Otherwise I doubt it'd be routed to you. The only usage I can really see for this (since distributing it for proper usage would not really work) would be cheating by seeing what your enemies are typing. Oh, and if you have to ask this sort of stuff, give up now, you don't know enough to start hacking the game. |
