The Death!?

Downloaded Birth of Shadows because I was bored last night and finished it today... does anyone know if TGN and MuldaV ever made the cinematic The Death!?

If you mean the intro, yeap that's The Great Noob in action. Probably the best fighting cinematic ever.

Nope it's not the intro... when you finish the game they say that the story will be continued with a cinematic called The Death... or something, the intro was The Vision

Oh, right. I never finished the campaign so... though I'm pretty sure they never made it.

We did, it was the one we sent in for an official blizzard contest and won 2nd prize, TGN got a kickass Soundcard, I got nothing. He deserves most though, I did terrain and voices for the campaign.

Ahhh I remember that cinematic now, the thing with the Soul Taker and stuff... that was a good cinematic, but come on it was 5 minutes, I was expecting you guys to make something epic and at least 30 minutes of footage.

Besides I felt that cinematic was more of a shortened version of the campaign, just with extra addons...

Anyway good to see one of the creators replying, wonder if you guys will ever do anything new anytime soon.

Our cooperation ended when World of Warcraft sent us flying our seperate ways. it's been a while since I've been in contact with TheGreatNoob.

Our intent was to create a campaign with an prologue and an epilogue. We really wanted to create a great campaign experience and try to reach outside the cinematics department.

I've been contacted by some of the old War3 map creators and we're planning to make a "comeback" in Starcraft 2, where my beloved World Editor will return with updated possibilities for terraining, triggering and cinematic making.

I have yet to find TheGreatNoob online, but if I could get that guy onboard for some renewed cooperation I would.

Thanks again for the compliments, it was really a blast making the whole Birth of Shadows, I didn't know it was still obtainable ;)

The contest had a 5 minute limit, else I'm sure TGN would have made it longer hehe. One of my fav cinematics, always loved what he did.

and jeez muldav I didnt know you were even still alive haha, good to see you're atleast planning a comeback;)
