Well, I know it is way late to be saying this, since all the master stuff is coming to a close, but wouldn't be a good idea to stick news about the contest on the main page? If people saw the models, or concepts, or skins that win posted up on the front page it would not only draw a little more attention, but might be a bit more incentive for people to participate. Maybe not this contest, but if you plan on doing another 4 seasons it might be a good idea. It may also help bring some more skilled memebers, they may look at the front page and go "hey there are some other skilled people here, I'll have to show em what I got" or something like that, without having to learn to navigate the site first to see how serious the community is. I read somewhere that if a web page, or television show doesn't catch your attention in the first 2-5 minutes, people are more than twice (74% is what I think it was, but not for sure) as likely to just pass it over. |

The_Lord is a moderator. he can decide wether his own contest is ok enough to be put on the front news page 9he can create a newstopic her and move to the site discussions front page news. I already told him that. it all depends if he wants to do it or not. |
