Cut-away shadows

A year (or so) ago, I started on a project based on the Lordaeron Winter tileset. It was/is my impossible-to-complete-n00b-project. I tried to go for an Icewind Dale II feel to it. However, this one thing bugged throughout the project. The shadows. I was using this construction set to build my buildings (they some how looked better than the City buildings). No pathing (pathing blockers), no preset shadows. I thought that they would look odd if I left it like that, so I clicked "Calculate shadows and save map" right? Here's the result Zoom (requires log in)

My question is: "Why do the f***ing shadows cut off at the grid?"

TotallyAwesome
Because warcraft 3 uses 32x32 squares to define shadows, so you can't make diagonal ones.

Dang! Oh well, I guess I'll do without. I mean, it was an old project anyway. I just wanted to see the shadows fully cast by these trees:
