Hi, I'm trying to import Born2Modificate's HD Doodads from here, but I can't get them to work. I tried imported several, but when I try to place them, it crashes my WE, and then when I reopen it, they just show up as a green box. I don't know exactly which files I need to import for each doodad, because there are no instructions, and the files are in german. :( I checked his map to try seeing which models he imported to which paths in the Object Editor, but that didn't work either. Any help? Thanks in advance. |

I recommend you to simply use the template maps he provided with his pack, or download Magos and check which paths the models use using Texture Manager. |

I tried looking at his template map. This won't work for me because I don't want to use every doodad in the map. I only need a select handful. I would use the template and simply delete all the extra doodads that I don't need, but that leads to my second problem: it is in German so I don't know which model files go to which textures. This leads to my third problem: I converted the MDX of one of the models to MDL and opened it in Notepad to see which textures to use. I imported all of the necessary MDX file and BLP's for that doodad and it still will not work. I tried using Wc3 Viewer to double-check which BLP files to use, but that doesn't work, because it doesn't show any necessary files. EDIT: OK I found Magos, and opened the MDX with it. I imported all of the necessary BLP files that it says, and now it finally works. Is there a way to make the doodads trees/destructibles? |

As far as I remember, none of Born2Modificate's models have any death animation, so I don't believe you can. |

there are some nice trees on here that do have a death animation. i believe they were animated by chris. |
