I changed a lot of the map itself, cause I became a biased local variables user, Optimized the way computer heroes act, Optimized the way Summoned Units get improved by the hero's intelligenct, and nerfed the infernal I think I fix the starting slowdown problem too. Oh, And I added a voting system do define the frag limit. This is the last alpha test for this map. After it I was start to make the Special Ability System : Each hero's ultimate will be unique and jass enhanced and will get more powerful depending on the hero's main attribute. After I finish it the beta test (for balancing) will start Edit: Updated with a non-corrupted file |

I won't stop using it, in fact Heavy Lock worked quite well before, (All the versions you played were heavy-locked) , but I am not going to obfuscate the script anymore. I am reuploading the map... |

Try heavy lock with preview lock and heavy lock. When one doesn't work usually the other does. |

I'll need more info about the crash. I am really concerned The Slowdown at map init is not, caused by the selection system, It is caused by some system I found yesterday, however the fixed edition will be released once I finish special abilities. About the Team setup, just tell them 4v4v4, since I don't think I will be able to change it, the only way to "Fix" it would be making N versions of my map each with a different play style A direct question to dataangel: Is there a risk to crash a map when you use GetLocalPlayer() to play a sound? Edit: The crash didn't happen in previous versions, it could be some of the changes I made (jass involved) , perhaps the Intelligence Trigger that gives damage and armor to summoned units Perhaps you can send me the error files? just to know if it is an endless loop. ===== To the other 13 guys that downloaded it, thanks for the feedback... |

I can confirm it crashes, but have no clue why. It was fairly early in the game, I think my hero was around lvl6. No error log was saved. On balance issues the sage hero (chain lightning, shadowstrike, wolves) is overpowered. It's a lot stronger than many other heros and in FFA's with the computer, the player who gets the sage tends to do very well. A hero unable to run away thx to SS while wolves are chomping on him is just rude. But I figure you'll probably be changing a lot of skills around anyway. |

Reincarnation would be changed to another special ability (The only hero with reencarnation will be the tauren chieftain) Shadow strike would be replaced with an aura And since he is a summoner, he will get a strenght reduction Therefore we will worrie about balancing in the beta test. If no log file was saved I think it would be really difficult to find the cause. |

I just played a game against comps on bnet, Frag level 25. I found no problems. The slow down from 11 is gone, I did pick my hero fairly quickly, so I dunno, if there is a slowdown during selection, I'd say I took about 20-25 seconds or so, I just skimmed around and decided on the corrupted ent. Even still, during that time, I experienced no problems. Can't say much on balance, just played this version once game so far. Comps actually dueled each other !!! that was so cool. Great Map Vex, looks like fun, I seemed to do well with the Ent, but it was only comps after all. |

It is an endless loop then, I changed some triggers to jass and I overused the loop command, Some of them might be bugged. |
