Hello guys i just wanna know as i make my new RPG with my friend who requested i would make this. What makes an OPEN RPG an open rpg? Is it the amount of quests? things you can do or places you can see? I also wanna know if somone could tell me how to add a quest menu in the game. I want to add the 150 quests i have made in the game so people can over look them and see what they want to complete first. For an RPG does it matter how many levels you can be say 50? If i take my time customing all the spells, units and items do you think people will like it more? I really need these questions answered so I may begin this RPG!;) |

Um, play an OpenRPG? Really, OpenRPG's are mostly just a big old creepfest with a bit of base building for those who like that, and some big *** super-creeps with legendary items, and a boss area so players can feel they have completed it. Having more than 3 levels per hero skill is definitely a good idea. Also MAKE SURE THEY WORK, or if you cant manage that, put in tomes of retraining!. There is nothing more annoying than a Beastmaster who can only barf for level5 bear. Theres also nothing more annoying than beastmasters in general so I suggest replacing all his skills with "summon critter". And for the love of all that is pure and holy, please dont give the beastmaster stormbolt instead of hawk X( As for customising heros/units, if you do it well, then go for it. Otherwise stick with the base of normal heros, and only change those particullary dodgy skills like Sleep. |

Have high-levels and high-level spells. But tweak the auras such as trueshot, and vampiric, those will become too strong, and when coupled with a mask of death... *shivers* |

Well thats what I thought, an OPEN RPG is a multiplayer RPG with unlimited things to do including finding items, defeating bosses, choosing a character instead of the game picking it for you. I have plenty of quests on the game but i still dont know how to put them all in quest menu. Here are some i thought of: Kobold Invasion Pollution Problem Goblin Siege Cork in the waterfall Lizard Legend King Kobold strikes back Spiderling Infestation Scarab Run Ancient Ruin Treasure Attack from above Speed Demons Egg Hunt Corrupted Village Encounter from beyond King Kobold Jr. Blood Mother of the Spiderlings Message from above Goblin Siege 2 Tick Tock! RUN!! Island Trolls War of the Elephant Mammoth Stampede Pirate Quest Golden Treasure Goblin Siege 3 Sapper Fest Dragon Fire Leaping Lizards Migrating Crabs Crab King of the Sands Hunt for the Paladin Sleeping Syndrom Goblin King Siege Strange a'doings EarthQuake Trouble Lights from above Mystery of the forgotten city There you go, just some quests from my mind. Thanks for your hel guys!:D |
