You just go to abilities in the object editor, carrion beetles, and change the "stats - levels" from 3 to 5 (or whatever Be warned that levels above 4 are very screwy, specifically default values (those in grey rather than pink) will be treated as 0 or NULL rather than whatever the value shown is. So in the case of carrion beetles, at lvl5 defaults it will summon 0 units of type NULL (ie no unit) up to a maximum of 0, it will cost 0 mana and have 0 cooldown. Some abilities are incredibly annoying to fix at lvl5, so unless your a sucker for punishment stick with lvl4 skills. |

Absolutely correct. The only other catch is that, as with any field that adds or removes fields from an ability, (such as number of levels, whether a skill is Hero or not) you have to select another skill and then switch back to the other skill for the data fields for the new levels to appear. |

However, if you want abilitys above level 10, you will have to go to the tool bar at the top of the screen, and click on "Advanced" scroll down till u see gamplay constants, then u will be brought up to the constants (lets call it that) window. Click on the box that says "Use Custom Gameplay constants, then scroll down till u see "Hero Maximum Level." You can then edit the maximum level each hero can lvl up too. Hehehehe the highest you can go to is 10,000!! :p Thanks to Draco for teaching me this.:D |
