my map doesn't really have many triggers nor doodads, units etc...and its only 260+kb but whenever i play with my friends on b.net it take long time to load a map...is there any way to fix this problem?? thx in advance |

switch to DSL from dial-up...:))) if u want lesser loading time, both of u need a better connection to the internet...or use lower resolution :) that's the only thing i can think of that can affect loading time... |

Well, alot of triggers won't neccessarily increase load time... but... Triggers that say "Map Initialization" run DURING the "Loading" screen, so if you have just 1 or 2 of those trigger then that would increase load time. |

I find the things that increase load time the most are custom hero skills and custom units. Imported stuff generally doesn't increase load time because on the whole it's just raw data and doesn't need much processing. (unlike the slew of unit/ability data) |
