Well I got tired of the whole map-making thing (too time consuming), so i might as well post what spell-scraps i have made; maybe someone will find something useful. Use what you can, scrap the rest. Credits not really needed. Ciao. Edit: Piccies/descriptions: Deathdealer: (cCentered around corpses) Crypt of T'Khez - summons an immobile crypt with an unholy aura and corpse-producing effect. Blood Pact - Force target into a blood pact, dealing heavy damage over time; caster takes 50% of this damage while burning his blood. Raise Skeleton - Raises 1-3 skeletons, Diablo II-style (Lord Vexorian's summon) Soul Steal Aura - continuously steals mana from nearby corpses. Death's Grace (AE channeling) - Speeds up friendly units' attackspeed in the area, and deals damage to enemies per tick based on level of spell and number of corpses in area. Viking: Reckless Fighting Style - lowers your AC, but adds 1-3 to your damage for every hit you take for the duration. Eat mushroom - Eat different mushrooms for various effects. Red: AE hits, Blue: Feedback, Green: AGI boost. Rogue: Backstab - Deals heavy damage. Only works from behind the target. Magic Sentry - Cages any unit using spells in the vicinity of the magic ward. Shadow Strike Improved - Like normal Shadow Strike, but dealing progressively more damage each tick. Tusk Warrior (He's got the junk-spells =/ ) Brawl - compares your strength with the targets; deals damage to target based on this difference. Chain Nova - self-evident Warp-Strike - warp to a target, deals damage. Displacement - swaps position of you and target Flamechild (Centered around fire, duh) Call Firedemon - calls a firedemon to punish your enemy Flamespiral - starts a spiral of flame that expands, then spirals back in. Armageddon - like in D2 except it's a channeling spell. Firewall - like in D2. Volcano - Channeling spell. ![]() |

Tip: Post some screenshots, comment at least SOME of the spells. Next to noone DLs a map to look at something they haven't either seen or read about. Regards Dead-Inside |

A small description on the spells will help, I am downloading them anyways, probably the repostiory is a better place for them though |

They are trigger spells, but I think that you kinda messed the credits somehow, you say based on Grater's SetBonus in some triggers, but the custom script section says weaaddar's SetBonus, well it is Weaaddar's Bonus Mod. And also the triggers use a integer variable to define the level, check again the function calls, since patch 1.13 there is A Level Of Ability for unit that returns an integer, it is way better than variables. And by the way, do something about your credit trigger destroy the floating text after a while, because it is actually leaking After you fix that stuff, mind uploading them to the downloads section? you get points from downloads, and 5 is too few since we have way a lot of spell creators in this site. |

What's even worse is that you are using an old version of BonusMod! And theres no basing, its full usage of the system. Basing would be if you optimized the algorithm or wrote your own based on the idea of binary bit flagging. |

See previous comment. I should refrain from uploading it, since the credits' section is wrong. Originally posted by Weaaddar Quote:

well the old version is as to be expected more memory intensive and is not as easy to use. I'd suggest grabbing the latest version from the vualt. The new ver is more optimized (but still not perfect) And the latter argument I had was merely a qualm on the wording. I'm sorry if I came off bitter. |

Very good spells. I only found one glaring bug, and I know you cant fix it, but in case you ever feel like it.... Volcano keeps going if the elementalist is manually forced to stop casting or he dies. It only ends the spell when the spell's duration is finished. |

Am I right in saying these spells were made pre-patch 1.13? They are very impressive btw, especially the volcano. |

Xinlitik, Does it continue forever, or just some seconds? I seem to recall i made it continue about 1½ seconds after he stops/dies. Ah heck, i think ill install the editor again to fix this as well as the credits-issue. Grater, To be honest, im not really sure. Patch 1.13 was applied December 18, and i started making spells just around that time, but the majority of the spells would be made post 1.13 then. And thanks for the kind words :) |

You have patch 1.13, my proof is that you used my unit guard ai functions (based from Grater's) that had GetUnitCurrentOrder (a feature from 1.13) |

No, they go on forever. It's a nasty bug and I know why... I had the same problem once. I dont know how to solve it well, but I can tell you what's wrong. Your "a unit stops casting an ability" event does not fire unless he stops casting because the spell's duration is over. It does not fire if he is ordered to move, stunned, killed, etc. It works fine if he stops channeling. The only (rather messy) solution I can think of would be when he starts the spell, set a boolean = true. Another trigger that detects any order he is given with a condition yourboolean = true with actions that run the trigger that ends the volcano. Then, set the boolean = false. In the end of your stops casting trigger, you'd need to add set boolean = false, as well. |
