First, Ill tell you not to flame me or anything because i already looked around the unit editor and i also searched the fourm with no luck. (Im new to TFT so i wouldnt have asked earlier) Im sure its a really obvious answer, but how to you change that dot on the minimap representing a creeps' color? I have this huge spider thing at level 6 with 900 hp and it was created from a small spider and on the minimap it shows a green dot. Im wondering how to change it to a yellow dot. (dot's probably not the right word) I dont need to know, but it would be helpful. Thanks |

Sounds like you need to make your own .blp image. The green/orange/red dots that appear as creep "campsites" are simple .blp's that you can replace by making one with a similar size, and the desired hue. If you don't have one already, you'll need a program such as Wc3Viewer to convert your image to a .blp. Hope that helps! ^_^ |

I think you can find the data in the editor under advanced-game interferance. |

I think the size of the creep camp is determined automaticaly based on the number of creeps and their level. Did you change the level of your custom spider when you changed it's HP and damage? And maybe, even if the level of your spider is higher, one such spider is still not enough for it to be considered an orange creep camp. |

You could just add a few units next to the giant spider, then remove them with triggers a few moments after the map starts. |

That wouldn't work Grater, the creep camp icons are updated every time the combined strength of the creeps, including the strongest one, within a set radius from the strongest one, changes. This radius, as far as I know, cannot be edited. |

I know that camps created from triggers *always* show a green icon... however it's possible to make *permament* orange or red icons, by placing red dragons, then hiding them with a trigger. That spot will then always sport a orange (or red) icon when under fog. |

Didn't know that.... well, I'm not really pro at much of anything (I think mig sig and title can attest to that). :\ |

sorry i didnt respond sooner , I know from experiance that it's really annoying when the guy that asks the question never responds. Thanks for the help to, and let me ask another question (or 2). First of all, does it dissapear when the unit dies, and then reappear when the unit comes back to life? And i know it's completely off topic, but does someone know how to earn points? thanks. P.S. I did increase the level (to level 6) and the HP (to 900). Interesting that a huge spider with so much HP and so much damage gets a green dot and a few dark trolls and a shaman get an orange dot... |

Ok I'm pretty confident that it calculates what kind of dot to place based on creep level (1-9 is the first one I think; then 10-19; then 20+). Not sure about those level estimates, but I'm pretty sure its the level average of all the units in the camp. |

Not the average, it's probably the sum or something. The ammount of HP don't matter, the only thing that matters is the level of the creep. Obviously, one creep at level 6 is not enough for an orange creep camp. Also, the creep camp icon dissapears when you explore the area where the creep camp is and you see that no one is there. If you want permanent creep camps that show up all the time then i suggest you do what Grater suggested: preplace some creeps so that they cause the camp icons be drawn, then hide them and place all the following creeps with triggers. |

Thanks a lot, I got it working. Level 11 brings it up to orange and i assume that around level 20 gets red. (now my problem is that he probably gives millions of experance ;) , but i probably can work around that) thanks again |
