Here's a cool view of a Naga Castle from the inside, I made it using Anark, and its interactive (means you can move the camera). Also, you need Anark to view the file (http://www.anark.com/downloads/). Finally, it's in a RAR file, so crack that sucker open with WinRAR(http://www.rarlabs.com/) and run the internet explorer file (the one that ends in .html). Enjoy! |

That looks awesome! How long does it take to convert a terrain area to a 3D file like that? That would be awesome for action screenshots, if it's possible to freeze units in an attack animation. |

Well, the problem with scenes like this is that you really can't do outdoor scenes or unit animation too well. The program used to make this was Anark Studio 2.5 (http://www.anark.com). I exported the MDX files to 3DS files, and then took out the BLP textures and converted those to .TGA files. I then imported the model files (3ds) into the scene and applied the textures (TGA). Also, I added a few other things (background, camera orbiter, etc.) and orded it to compile the file. The problems with that is that when converting from MDX to 3ds, the animations don't go with it, so I have to add the animations from scratch. It's pretty cool and all, being able to add any Warcraft 3 model or texture into this program and have fun with it, the only other thing, is that the ground textures are SOOOOOO impossible to do on any decent-looking scale. The ground texture I used here was just a dirt like texture, and so I didn't have to tile it any, so it still looked good. Also, you may have noticed, but I used alot of those Naga Circular ground tiles, that's because they are seperate model files on thier own and I could tile them easily. Also, pretty soon, I'll add a few units to the scene, no animations though. Keep enjoying it! (And by the way, if you're a student in school, you can apply to get Anark Studio 2.5 for 1/8th of what it normally costs.) |

Once again, very cool! You should be a 3D-screenshot artist for a popular campaign, or something. |

Views attached .rar archive again. By the way, I'm sorry I can't use WinZip for these, because when my computer tries to view the winzip archive, it's all corrupted because the winrar and windows xp drivers for .zip files are fighting each other.... And I enjoyed making this, even though it's not done. |

By the way, for anyone who enjoys my work, you can probably see more of it in this thread, I'm going to update the war3 models and textures to be WoW quality: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/showthread.php?t=65869 -enjoy |
