I notice that with an archer model whenever it is killed around another archer (high elf or night elf) its head (which is a geoset) appears on the other archer. Why is it doing this? I have a feeling that it has something with not transferring the head's decay animation. Can somebody tell me how to fix it, or do it for me? If you will, tell me. Ill post the model. |

good heavens! That's quite bizarre... Hmmmmm... Once I had the knight/captain geoset merge unit in a map and his shield was appearing on the side of a wall model... |

It's because the head doesn't have a GEOSetanim which makes it dissapear with the rest of the body when it goes to bone decay. |

No geosetanim indeed. To fix it you have to make sure: Create a new geoset anim but the geoset id MUST match with the head geoset. The bone Head usually has its geoset id and geosetanimid similar to the original (aka they point to one). in the case when one bone share two geosetanims and two geosets turn them into": Geosetid =Multiple GeosetanimId =None Not sure about the names as I dont have a open mdl before my eyes. Nevertheless the values MUST have a capital letter, otherwise you get an error ======================================================= This thread has been solved adequate enough by most of these people ^_^ Hence posting after this should only be done if you encounter errors while fixing it. If that happens, post the snippit of the geosetanim and of course the snippit of the bone head. Otherwise just attach the mdl. (in ZIP) and it will be fixed. however, you should try it yourself first , so in future models, you know what to do. |

I suggest contacting ice knight as he did fix your model up. ^_^ Besides we do not wish to take the responsibility up to walk everyone after with a big clean up vacuum, so you gotta find some buddy who can help you. |

This modelig stuff really confuses me, but ill give it a try. How do you add animations? Can i go into the model of the regular archer and copy those anims into this one? What would i have to change? And does it also have to be in a certain spot of the code, or can it just be pasted at the bottom? |
