This is just a listing of the user-contributed projects based off of the FPS Mod. More will be added as they get announced.

Major Projects

Blademaster Mod by Ant [Complete]
The flagship FPS Mod project. It's a mod where you control a Blademaster and you go around slashing at enemies with your sword. You can also jump around and perform special combos which are more effective than the standard slash. It consists of a Training Mission and 16 missions. It's very fun! Give it a try!

Star Ship Troopers Mod by SS3Goku [In Progress]
Description coming soon.

Ant's Second Project [In Progress]
Follows directly from the Blademaster Mod. This one will feature more units, more varied gameplay, and better visual effects.

Other Projects

FPS Minigames by Ant [Complete]
A set of several games which showcase ways in which you can modify the basic engine to do some cool stuff. This is a great point of reference if you ever run into problems placing the FPS Engine in your own maps.

D-Day Mod by SDModding [Cancelled]
What was to become the ultimate mod of the FPS Mod eventually was cancelled due to logistical issues and the disbanding of the original team making it. The people making this got relatively far and added some functionality not included in the basic SDK such an bots.

Updated this list.

Currently, we have no plans for Mac support. That's largely because we don't have anyone who would volunteer to help us make that a reality. If you know someone who could, I'd be interested in knowing.

I was reading about this and it made me think more about starting my own FPS Mod Project, tell me is it really that is to make a FPS map??? I was gunna make one based on Doom.

doom or doom3? well all the doom games are awsome and to make a map you just have to put the engine into the map and start working.

Doom whatever, I wanna make it with a gun on the side and you know it changes along with certain items and stuff, fast paced movement and yeah

The gameplay elements and look and feel aren't very hard. It's not too hard to make guns, and the gun at the side just needs a model to be there. The difficult part in shooting stuff is the AI, but I guess Doom AI isn't too hard cause everyone is mindless.

But hey, you never know until you try.

Hell, i'd just love to play warcraft in first person.. i'd imagin with all those people making lord ofthe rings maps they could make one where it's like the movies in that, the bad guys die really easy, but there's tons of em, run, slash kill. i mean, first person battle of helms deep would kick ass. again, i just have the ideas, no skill to make it real.

Amen, even if its just a blademaster map with tons of soldiers, still cool.

problems with helms deep though :( , the FPS only works on one plane, aka no multiheight maps(no walls!@!!!!)

but i dont know why im even bothreing discussing this anymore, my war3 and shizzle was stolen at the last LAN so no more war3 for me.
