Waterfall realy need help

i can make a waterfall with nice thingys under it but i need water at the top of the mountain else it just comes straight from the ground and i dont want that, so I need water up a mountain without the using the shallow water tool cos those cliffs suck! :<

You can't get water without cliffs, but if you mean the way WE makes a cliff at the edge of areas of water then try this:

Go to the Advanced menu in WE and turn of Enforce Water Height Limits. This will let you have water right to the edge of a cliff. Note, however, that it can do strange things sometimes.
