Mozared's gallery of stuff - pretty image heavy!

Alright, i just saw gitlich's gallery and i figured i could put up one myself as well. as the title says this tread is pretty heavy. i'm gonna attach images now, see how far i come and i'l put in more later.

Special stuff:
There is 1 terrain i made which i'm not gonna post pics about here, because i've got a seperate (dead) tread for it. My Outlandscape tread is only for looking, not for posting; post your feedback about it here, because i don't want to revive the tread.

Small/never finished stuff

Boybeach
Some girl from my class asked to make this for me. i suck at beaches so it didn't work out.

Mushroom cave
This is something really small i did, i never really posted it i believe, just some small cave.

Egypt
Also for somebody from my class, he asked me to do egypt (he's an egypt fan). so i decided to make some pyramide in a desert.

Evil valley
Something i did a small while ago, not really big, just some small valley with a satyr inside.

Forest
I did this once again for somebody from my class, it's a small forest road.

Gletsjer
Once again for somebody from my class. a gletsjer.

Ragnarok
I made this for a weekly terraining exercise some time ago, it's the end of the world.

River
My banner, gheghe.

Skipiste
Or thats the dutch name to it. it was supposed to become some place to ski, but i kinda messed up.

Spring
Some spring i made for some girl. i think it's one of my best.

Titanic
A titanic for again somebody from my class. i'm aware there's a doodad selected =P.

Waterfall
Some waterfall i did when i was in the mood for it.

Thats all for now, it's big enough for now. these are all my small things, my few very big thinks will be uploaded later. feedbacks allright, i hope you didn't lag too much.

Normal sized things

Australie
I did this some time ago, also for a classmate, but i grew a bit big on it. i think i succeeded pretty well in what i wanted to create.

Bog
This was for a weekly terraining exercise as well, some time ago. a simple bog. you will see one of that-like bogs featuring in the fabolous mod "Counterstrike At Quel'Thalas" (CAQT) as well.

Venice
Again for a weekly terraining exercise, we got ordered to create a venice like city. some people call mine crap, some call it beautifull... i'm neutral on it. i don't really like it, but i don't dislike it either.

Underworld
This last one is on the border from normal to big, but because i wanted more "normal" styled terrains i just posted it as normal. i think this one's ok.

Big stuff

Brigde of khazad-dum
I only made this baby recently, and it's 4 pics. there's still a tread going on about it over here. though i'l also post the pictures over here.

Mountain temple
A temple inside a mountain i did like a month or 2 ago. worked out pretty well. I first made it, and later it became a WT, so i also sumbitted this there.

Orc fort
Also for a Weekly Terraining Exercise, this baby is so far the most hugest thing i made, and i'm pretty proud of it. there's a lot of stuff going on and i got like 7 screenshots. the first is a WIP-shot i made, the rest are finished. nobody asked me how i did the doorway to the tower in picture 5 yet btw. oh well, here we go:

I know, i suck at beaches yeah. perhaps the fort will get in an rpg, if somebody wants it i'm willing to give. i'm not willing to go and make the whole thing playable though. as now you can walk trough the walls instead of being able to go up them, and you can also walk trough most of the buildings.

Well. Honostly, most of those pics need work still.
Boy Beach - Theres like nothing there, but someone already mentioned that...
Mushroom Cave - More floor variations, its all flat, possible add stalagtite (or whatever) there the up-side-down rock spires.
Egypt - The walls of it have vegatation growing down and all around is desert, plus, the Pryamid shouldn't be wavy at the bottom, should be flat. Maybe add an entrance to it?
Evil Valley - Smooth out those cliffs, (Don't know what the middle thing is for, but it looks kinda strange) add ground variations and noise.
Forest - Maybe add a few canopy trees and some rocks?
Glacier - Well I don't see all of it, but that spider archway with the natural ones doesn't fit, a few crystal doodads are floating and you have to smooth out the cliffs sides a bit.
Ragnarok - The effects are alright, a bit wacko, but terrain wise its pretty bad.. really bad actually, maybe that one was a cinematic more than a terrain..
River - Its good but the sides end abruptly, not the river sides but the hill sides.
Skipiste - Needs more snow doodads, maybe use some not floating glaciers.
Spring - You should path ur stuff there. and put the peirs together? I can see gaps between the first two, take away the archway maybe? It doesn't add anything to the terrain from what I see.
Titanic - Where to start... :\
Waterfall - Pretty dull theres no main focus in the picture. More doodads...

I've been pretty nice when critizing this stuff too, you need to make the terrains more interesting, thats what I noticed in most of them, very dull.

From your toughest critic,
Sincerely bur

Thnx a lot for all the comments, but i'm afraid you seem not to read titles. all those are not finished/very small stuff, so they're not really big. you kinda commented all my unfinished/small stuff, while in truth my big work are the large thinks which you didn't criticize :>

Some shots are impressive, some aren't... Like the early forests and waterfalls you made. I really think you stopped using the cliff tool and started using raise terrain instead for your mountains since they look more natural, right?

You also don't use a lot of fog based on most your shots... Why is that? Your LoTR inspired shots in the cave could really be improved since the underground dome doodads is kinda low-res and would look better if covered in some fog. It still looks nice anyway!

Your version of Venice looks nice... though bland but only because of the lack of doodads!

The Orc bases are nice. Not too cramped but still looks very ordered... It would help if the base had some small passageways around structures with lots of little details and stuff. Add fog too!!

Anyway... thats all. :god_help_us:

I got something coming up for you, i'm currently doing stormwind. yes the whole thing (if it fits on my map). it's gonna take me a whole lot of time though. I'm heavily in need of the front 2 and the most right+left tower on this picture. if somebody can model them or help me out thanks a lot!

Very Nice well set out terrian. I like the use of wisps for the sun. Overall you seem like a great terrianer. 9/10 The bad points make are just a few too many flat areas and some strange doodad placement.
