This thread is where Master Skinning Contest 1 (MSC1) will be discussed. People interested can reply here, and tell me what they think we should do for theme, and any general discussion concerning the selected theme, or anything else really. Keep it clean please.

Just posting that i am in. Ask a mod to sticky this. (Due to the long period of development of the final product for judgement).
I propose umm...a deeply grungelike (Mad max meets war40k meets warcraft footman) style for this upcoming MSC1.
1. We have to decide on a unit right?
2. Noone can join partway through, correct?
3. We DO not have to make model adjustments right? But i take it we really do...so..until further notice, ii'm in, locked and ready and ready to..um..master skin? ^_^

The master contest was/is a flawed concept...

well, who cares, really. if people want to, then they will. just cause your MC didnt go right, dont mean ours aint gonna work. if people wanna skin they will....yours makes it more complicated with custom models, anims, and new skin.

sorry if i sound rash.

no horus, you dont HAVE to make model edits, rather, in that stage you pick your model and then editi it, in your case, you only present the model youre using, so theres no confusion.

and please explain your idea of the 40k meets footy kinda deal.

To join the contest i'll just have to say i want to join??? because i didnt really see anything reffering to how to join so i just used my common sense(which ain't much!)

nope. no teams. you do it all by yourself (of course, if you need someone to do model edits, by all means....ask acolytofdoom or...hell, idk. ask around.

but yeah, all you gotta do (well, for now) is say "hey, i wanna do it"

then once we get enough people...we'll ask them to voice their opinion on a theme for the first contest. then once the theme is set, post your entry (in the link in my first post) for the first stage (concepts and spells. optional artwork) by...whenever the date is. once we get some people together, we'll decide on a theme as well as deadlines for the 4 stages. judges can be chosen at any point along the way.

well...thats pretty much all that you needed to know based on ur question....

ideas for the team? u mean theme? yes. just say "hey...i would like to se blah blah blah theme"

and then thats all u have to do until we get more people to be interested in it.

i wanna join to! but im completely new to these contests. can someone tell me wich themes are already used?
