Unsung Legend Recruiting

As our first thread is overwhelmed and as frostfire is no more on the forum, I decided to begin another thread for warcraft mod, Unsung Legend, also called UL for short.

UL is a World RPG in warcraft universe, just after The Frozen Throne events. It's not WoW and we don't want to make another version of it. It has its own story, and the demo would soon be released. It would feature pets and mounting, mercenaries, some original mastery's system and an intense entirely based on warcraft sery universe.
The demo would mainly contain West Lordaeron and the war there between the scourge, the Forsaken and the Alliance.


Some VERY short storyline for you to see what it is all about:

The new age has begun, but as the sun rises over the horizon, the clouds are dark and foreboding, for war looms over the world once more. Somewhere deep in thoughts of dark revenge and power, a being stirs, one that does not recall the world with kindness. For this great power, a general of great strength is needed, and for this purpose, yet another dark soul awakens in the harsh cold of northrend Now as this all mighty power gathers minions, of unfathomable strength, the world remains war torn and tired. Yet ancient sparks, keep the fire of war burning...

The lich king has begun to tighten his grip on the world, as his armies gather to
retake lordaeron, and deal a blow to the alliance, that would shatter thier remaning shards. While the denizens of lordaeron, gather to hold thier own, and protect thier sacred land, other muderous plots complicate the fate of all who reside in the world.

The demon lord Kil'jaeden masses his demons, with one goal: claim this power that has awoken for himself. Knowing, that kiil'jaeden would further tear apart thier beloved homeland, the citizens of draenor, have arisen to stand before the might of the legion and deny them passage.

Meanwhile the new horde stands mightier than any before them. Thier elder shamans have preached of the coming of the legion, and the awakening of catastrophic power, and now the strive to prevent both, as those faithful to nature, mass to serve Ysera and protect her domains against all that would dare to invade it.

With such bloodlust and hatred in the air, all brace themselves for the coming of war, and all wonder if when pitted against those who would see them burn, if they shall live to see the light of the next day...


Well here are what we are still needing in our team:

- Terrainers (REALLY!): we will never get tired of recieving help of terrainers! Just remember we are for now working on Lordaeron so we do use only Tilesets like lordaeron, cityscape, underground and northrend one for mountainous area. There is too much work with undead's terrain.

- Icon Maker(s): Mainly for items and some abilities too. We are basing ourselves on wc3 icons so no need of entirely new items, just some warcraft style one for some more weapons, armors or so.

- Triggerer(s): For quests and to help Dark finish the system.

- Object editor: For items and units, Dark get tired working on it ^_^

- Cinematic maker: our introduction cinematic could need the help of someone who does know how to do one!

- Skinner/modeller: For custom and original heroes, and for both forsaken and dwarves models.

so you finally got around to this huh? yes i agree, this is not a WoW mmap, we find this a very limiting description, we are not a cheap imitation (not meaning snubbs to anyone else) we are independent, and trust me the systems are very special. if u want more info post here, pm either slith or I or go to this thread

Heh, I've been hearing a lot about this project, and it seems quite promising. If you want I could terrain a couple of maps for you, I'm pretty good. Gl with it anyway, even if you don't need any extra help.

we are always in need of terrainers, this is a world RPG, anyways any uhh pics of work/terrain? i don't think i can actually say you're in slith will do that, but i think it looks good plastic. anyways all terrainers are welcome

Some old Ashenvale pics from a project I was doing, I'd prefer not to terrain Ashenvale, I'd rather do dungeons, sunken ruins, small towns (not good at cities), ports, harbour, Islands, stuff on water.

Fun Fact- The first time I saw this project, I despised it. Now that it's actually going somewhere, I think it's pretty cool. (Actually I was just jealous ^_^ )

Also, my favorite race is dwarves, so if I could terrain some dwarven land I would appreciate it.

Frost is alive! Incredible... Well learn frost that there was some kind of... revolution as you were away for quiet, a bite, a lot, really a LOT of time. Ask dark about it, he would explain it better than me...

Well I looked at your terrains guys, and here is what I think:

Plastic, your terrains are quiet good and you look to be ok with Lordaeron terrains so is you want to work for us, just confirm by PMing me and you will be in.

Metal, you terrains are good too, but none of your terrain are either cityscape, Lordaeron, Dalaran of mountainous. I am not saying you cannot do them but if you don't like such type of terrains you will have to wait for quiet some time before we would need your help... (As we must do first Lordaeron, whole Khaz Modan, Northrend and Azeroth before Ashenvale and so...). Just PM me if you still want to work with us.

long story short, we kicked you out, or *cough* cough* we believe that your attitude towards UL is unacceptable, thus we have given you a new more suitable position... water boy! slith being our former waterboy has taken over your position... if you be really good maybe we'll promote you to paper shredder (is that a job?) o_O

Well, I've been informed I'm terraining.... (where am I terraining?) that place, yes. I pledge to do my best to aid UL to becoming a reality. Thank you, no please, hold your applauses, thabk you. Yea.
