blizzard.j is missing

Whenever I try to run the AMAI Installer, it says blizzard.j is missing in the installer folder. Where do I get blizzard.j from?

Are you using AMAI NYE or the amai beta?

If its AMAI NYE the blizzard.j should come with the files already and is odd if its missing. You will have to re-download if this is so.

if its the beta you have to compile it by using the strategymanager.pl then the installer should work fine.

Hi everyone! Last night I've done that. I also see that EXE files of the AMAI Simple Edition are compiled with those. I'll be posting replays soon, together with the AMAI Simple Edition I used that matches the replays.

Or I suggest that AMAI Team post the official version of the EXE files to reduce the risk of AMAI users accidentally spreading viruses. I do have an anti-virus scanner, but it would still be safer if there is only one official source of the EXE Simple Editions.

The DE edition is supposed to provide ability to create the exe's and its unlikely the functionility will be removed. It provides easy testing of the amai scripts and such and is great help for replays you send as we don't need the map itself.

True theres a virus risk from people giving out fake exe but thats so with anything you can download. If people just take care in what there downloading and do anti-virus scans before extracting from the zip/rar its very unlikely to get an infection.

But i'll be posting a beta simple edition soon as some people can't understand the DE editions but then this is a beta and not a release. Anyway i'll probrably release on the original beta thread with the other attachment.
