the weapons by TDR and Yoda_24 are the coolest IMO.

I think TDR's weapons have more sizzle to them.

Yoda's had the best texturing so... yep, I'm voting for him.

this is a modelling contest, you shouldn't judge based on the skin if u ask me.

Especially not since the skins are photos (no offence yoda, they look great), or atleast they look so. What I mean is you shouldn't judge the weapons for the skins that he hasn't even done

Texturing does not strictly refer to the texture itself, but by the way he UVmapped it. UVmapping is extremely important. You can have a super duper texture if you just have a crappy mapping, to ruin everything up. You want other reasons? Well, I find them extremely realistic, especially because of the good lightning!

they should be judged on the whole, model, texture, UV mapping etc...
all those things count, you shouldnt just look at one aspect of the file.

It's a public poll. Decide what YOU want to judge, you can't make others follow your guidelines.

I didn't judge mesh because it's not that complicated anywhere.. I found the texturing and UVmapping the important part, and worth focusing on. That's all!
