Ok so im working on a map, the currect size is 5.08 MB. When i try to host it online i get an error message that says the file size is to big ! Ive slaved over this map for months and need to know what the max file size is so i can cut back on anything 'unneeded' to make it small enough. plz help!![]() |

The max file size for battle.net is 4 MB, I don't think there is a max size for LAN. |

thanks, now i got 1.08 mb worth of material to remove from my map while still adding more stuff to it... this is gonna be fun... |

Not necessarily. I've never met a widgetized map with a 'huge ass loading time'. Of course he's going to need to cut another half meg or so to have room for that. |

I guess it all depends on huge loading time but to me 13attleships 3.5b at 4mb is a huge loading time and i know it is widgetized. There as you know is more to loading than just the OE stuff.... |

The loading duration is based upon triggers and number of objects in your map, not by the number of your imported stuff. |
