Whats the max size of a map?

Ok so im working on a map, the currect size is 5.08 MB. When i try to host it online i get an error message that says the file size is to big ! Ive slaved over this map for months and need to know what the max file size is so i can cut back on anything 'unneeded' to make it small enough. plz help!

The max file size for battle.net is 4 MB, I don't think there is a max size for LAN.

thanks, now i got 1.08 mb worth of material to remove from my map while still adding more stuff to it... this is gonna be fun...

Not necessarily. I've never met a widgetized map with a 'huge ass loading time'. Of course he's going to need to cut another half meg or so to have room for that.

I guess it all depends on huge loading time but to me 13attleships 3.5b at 4mb is a huge loading time and i know it is widgetized. There as you know is more to loading than just the OE stuff....

The loading duration is based upon triggers and number of objects in your map, not by the number of your imported stuff.
