The IaW RPG is starting to reach some crucial stages. At this time we (Shadow1500 and me) feel that IaW is in need of some new models. Currently, IaW is using only 2 models, each is used for 3 characters each. What I want is light clothed, unequipped models for 6 different characters. Also note that they must not have any headgear because of helmets, and also nothing that can come in the way of shoulderpads. Links to IaW MORPG: http://srpg.freephpnuke.org/gate.htm...ums&file=index - This is the temporary and possibly new site for IaW, since the original Eznuke site is currently down. (Check out the ConvSystem ;) http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=81711 - This is the Wc3C project thread for IaW. Here you can view some of the current features of IaW. A download for the 0.91 version can be found at both link. Here's the one type of model (wich we might keep) that we are currently using in IaW. ![]() See how the model is quite clean and has no big clothing wich could interfere with any attachments. Here are the characters of IaW:
* If you feel that you would like any more specifications, just ask Shadow1500 or me, and we will make the necessary decision(s). So if you are interested in making one or many of these models, please contact me by posting here, through PM or at mIRC (#Wc3C/#sRPG). We will have to see some of your previous work before accepting you as a modeler for this project. Something that fits the style of IaW (like top pic in post) is preffered. Reward: You will be credited in the RPG and you will recieve +rep from me and Shadow1500 for the work you do. The pics: |

Haha, ye, I knew someone would bring that up :P That is the only decent pic I could find of a female shaman. Look at the note under the shaman pics. The style of clothing on a shaman would be somewhat of a mix between those two pics. Maybe the amount of clothes from the orc, and more the style of clothes from the woman (like, dark skin and dark leather, feather and bones, as in necklaces and such...). So no, we're not trying to tell the modelers to focus on making models with a nice rack... |

Yesyes, I think most IaW-players have felt that way for quite some time (= But let's get back on to topic here: Is there anyone who could be willing to make models for us? |

ehh..i could be willing to try some >.> if i ever get a break from real life crap.. |

I'll be back Monday 31st, so we'll continue discussion then. But in the meantime, do you have any modelwork that could fit the style of IaW, so that we know you'll be able to keep making models in that style for us? Because I've checked your models, they look great, but are not something that would fit in IaW. For that matter, none of those I could find were humanoids... Except that small thingy wich I don't remember what was... Heh, anyway, I am the "manager" of these requests, and since I'm leaving for 6 days now, this will be on hold untill I get back. In the meanwhile we would of course love it if as many people as possible who are willing to model for us will post here so that I'll have some joyful posts to read when I get back ;) [ Edit: Could someone please tell me how to make those bottom pics (attachments) become one thumbnail? Or whataver it is called when all attachmens are gathered in a gray box/rectangle :P ] |

well...ill make one and see what you think >.> |

Oh, hehe, cool. You are aware of that we will not start choosing who will be modeling for us and which model that/those modeler(s) untill the 31st or later? We'd like to give all possible modelers the chance sign up here and make their choice of character before we make any more decisions. So please be aware of that whatever model you make it might get dumped because of various reasons :P And one other thing. Please stop by mIRC today and join #Wc3C so we can have a chat before I leave. I did figure out that I could actually work my way through this forum by using me mobile, so I'll actually be able to see and maybe answer PMs that are sent to me. And also post on this forum. |

I might be able to help out. Although I can't model worth a damn, I could provide some animation assistance? It all depends on what I have on my plate at the time though. I'd like to help. |

Animation assistance huh? Well, what we mainly want is modelers, but if any of them should need animation assistance, we could always direct them to you, so thx ;) I can see that you're quite talented at skinning though. So maybe if someone makes just a model, you could handle the rest? We'll see, we'll see :) |

Actualy, we could definetly use animations, mainly right-hand attacks and channel animations. I always hated how most blizzard models have left-handed anims. |

Well adding animations to current models might be difficult, there is a tutorial I'm going to test as soon as this Trike gets finished. If that proves successful, the job should be less difficult. |

Shadow, have you gotten any PMs? Well, no new ones for me so far. And map-maker, how's that preview coming along? ;) I hope there's free internet at prague somewhere as well so I can keep doing quick checkups here. If my girl will allow me even that much that is :P (I'm on a computer at the hotel. We haven't flown off to prague yet ;) |
