The Gunslinger Roland halted his horse. Beyond him was a spectacular sight: a foggy morning illuminating a lonely village over a waterfall. The water from it poured downwards and crashed onto the rocks millions of miles below. A luminous haze of fog was emanating from the soft, wet ground. The scene smelled of peacefulness. Utter tranquility. It was this ground Roland - or rather, his horse - walked on. It was beautiful and sacred, this ground. |

Hmmmmm, I think the term most appropriate here would be "nice". I haven't done one of these jobies for a long time so I might have a go if I get some free time, definately a nice and opportunistic theme this week, we should see some real nice results :D |

That's sooo a dam XD |

If it was a dam wouldnt the water fill up the area between the dam and the waterfall in like... 10 seconds? Unless the water falls forever, which would be pretty cool anyways ![]() |

If you could make a skin for the bridge that would make most of it transparent, the bridge would look more like a bridge than a dam. Maybe it could be done in a similar way as people created transparent ground in a different WT: http://www.wc3campaigns.net/showthread.php?t=83680 I do like how the camera angle is different from most pictures of waterfalls. |

skinning and tiling are two different things, not terraining at all i might add even though terrains know how to. Shortcut of what you just said is just pressing delete on those bridges -_-; http://www.dropshots.com/zoomin.php?...0070321&cimg=0 http://www.dropshots.com/zoomin.php?...0070321&cimg=1 Mine has a lot of height in the rushing waters, not sure if you guys can see it. |

If i did that we have random support bars hanging out into thin air. And I usually dont see random floating blocks of cement ![]() Edit: You need tile variation and doodads raydude, along with doing something with the weird snowy weather on the very top right of the first pic. |
