Request: Rising Water Doodad without Rising Water

I looked at rising water and saw the potential of using its animation to simulate moving water, and would work great as a breaking surf at beach, indicating a fast moving river, or used at base of a big waterfall. However, the animation comes with rising water, which would be invisible in shallow water (with some workaround), but would be very clearly visible in deep water and therefore jarring to experience to see a box of different colored water coming out of nowhere every 2 or 3 seconds.

Therefore, I'd be much oliged if someone can remove the rising water animation from the doodad, leaving behind only the wave/surf animation.

Alternatively, if anyone can convert the mdx file to a generic model file (e.g. 3ds, mm2), I'd gladly do it myself. I have a modeling program but no mdx editor for Mac. Thanks.
