I downloaded Born²Modificate's doodad pack (great pack!) for a campaign I'm working on, and I wanted to try it out first. I didn't spend a lot of time on this map, twenty minutes max. Anyways, here's what I came up with. |

Very nice, +REP Second pic needs to be re-ssed, the sky is cuby. |

I think you're relying too much on B2M's stuff, but it came out pretty well - just a bit of empty space in several places and some times unsatisfying placement of rocks, trees and... Is that seaweed? You sure you want to use uber high res doodads in a WC3 map? |

hum he wants to use it in a campaign so filesize doesnt matter... the color of the water fits to those *realistic high res doodads ...i would make it a bit darker/less blue maybe a touch of green in it.. (or you could use the quite good water-model in the forums her....but i warn you it would be MUCH MORE work if you decide to use it) |

Don't be an ass Karzvitch. :P One of the best b2m terrains I've seen, good work. |

Thanks for the comments, guys! I know I relied a lot on b2m's stuff, but that was the whole point. I wanted to get a feel of what I can do with it. |

Lol... From the way I see it, everything is b2m's models! Except shrubs, water, sky etc. Anyways, these look real nice and the fog really fits the atmosphere, if any. |

Karzvitch was just telling the truth to anything, he was just trying out the pack, and not really for a war3map and it's a campaign map. No one cares about the size of campaigns as long as it's under the limit (think it was 5 mb max?). Good job, you did good for a 20 minute work. |

Wtf, I hope you aren't seriously saying that a Good campaign with alot of custom models can be under 5 mb, + He can always upload it to rapidshare or megaupload and then if it's approved the admins will upload it on the site regardless of it's size. |

Damn. I hadn't thougth the filesize would be so much of a problem. After seeing all these other campaigns and mods with tons of custom models and textures, I just assumed that it wouldn't be such hassle... akolyt0r - what's that about the custom water model? |

I'm probably wrong about this, but I think that all these projects are hosted by wc3c, so they probably get some sort of a privileged service for uploading their maps or something. I'm just guessing though... What's the campaign on anyways? |

Theres a custom water model that is available for download, but you have to place the waves yourself. Its about 184x more work that way though. |
