hi, i just started to model a beartrap for myself and after messing around with about 2000 converter programs i thought i have found the right path:
cinema 4d export in .obj-format
milkshape saves the imported .obj to mdl
i edit some crude coordinates in the geoset (8 lines like {-1.#IND00, -1.#IND00, -1.#IND00}) to -1.000000
i add a header with oinkerwinkles tool.
now the warcraft iii viewer and the war3modeleditor show the model but the worldeditor says it can't read it.
here is it in .mdl with the texture

Guesst
The problem could be that it has no animations. If you this Milkshape exporter instead of the one you used, it should work.

that was the one i used.
i don't know how to tell it that it should create a header.

It should create a header automatically. The #IND errors do not come from that exporter.
